Andrew Hussie, you ruined my life, I think I love you.

So, to clarify, Homestuck has officially ruined my life and childhood.
First, I used to be very proud to be a Sagittarius.   I kinda want to quit having been born in December now.  Except I can’t.  HOMESTUCK WHY DO YOU DO THESE THINGS!

Also, childhood, totally destroyed.  Buckets used to be cool guys!  And can somebody explain to me how in the hell observing two walls is relevant?

Although, not going to lie.  Andrew Hussie’s MS paint skills leave something to be desired.  His art style is lovely.  I am not going to lie, if someone acquired a Homestuck art book and gave it to me, I would be their best friend for ever.

On a completely unrelated topic.  I am going to have to invest in a really nice vintage leather jacket.  I am watching Grease, and I totally forgot how much I love the jackets.  And the 50s.  The 50s and 90s are probably my favourite decades.

Anyways, who wants to follow my adventures on how I figure out what is so addictive about homestuck?

Almost, but not quite, but still pretty much the end.

So, I have to get on a plane in like 6 hours.  Not that I want to in the slightest.  I am debating a few hours of sleep, which will probably happen ASAP.  I just wanted to recap how awesome this journey was.

FIRST!
England Swag List

  • Black Bowler hat
  • White Top Hat
  • Pocket Watch
  • Two Pashminas
  • Three Keffiyehs
  • Mustache necklace
  • Fox head earrings
  • Knock off flat black ray bans
  • John Lennon Glasses
  • Keep calm and drink tea mug
  • E-cow-nomics poster
  • Pink Floyd poster, successfully ruined not on purpose by a smashed snow globe.
  • Keep Calm and Drink tea poster
  • Goodiva dark chocolate spread
  • Irish Breakfast tea
  • 200 bags of PG tips black tea, to be sweetened ASAP
  • 6 new paperback Moleskine sketch books
  • Various other things that I conveniently forget right now.

Anyways, spent today lounging, not packing, and shopping.  Spent all but my last £20, which I think is excellent.  I really don’t want to go home, but I have to.  I should seriously be trying to get some sleep, so not even happening.  I need to finish packing too! OH DEAR!  Anyways, I guess those pictures I promised are going un-uploaded until further notice.  Maybe in a month or two or something stupid like that.  I’ll just surprise you all with some random England pictures! HA HA!

As it is, I am going to miss this lovely country. My next trip here will include a week in Ireland, probably a few days in Devon, and maybe even some time in Scotland.  I am going to miss being in THE timezone too.  Anyways, I have nine hours of sitting a head of me, probably to be filled with math that I have neglected.  Time to finish packing.

Obscure moleskinery.  The first I drew after getting my hands on a Tim Burton artbook, which I love to pieces.  The second was based on a song by Marilyn Manson, thus the kinda creepyness.

Moleskines are awesome.

I can’t remember why I didn’t post this.  Drew it in September after a rather interesting skype conversation that lasted 6 hours and was 21 pages long.

Day almost the end

Yesterday was actually particularly productive.  Silent party for me!  I actually got almost everyone on my list a gifty!  I think I need an award for how good I am at finding stuff for people.  The only people still on my list are my father, a family friend, and one of my super close friends.

Anyways, started the day at the lovely hour of noon.  Went down to the bus and took it to Sommerset house.  I of course, didn’t take any photos.  As it was, there was a super cool and surreal staircase there.  Which was pretty nifty to look at.  I am very happy.  Sommerset house got my inner architect all geared up and happy.  Very pleasant place.  I would have certainly loved to spend a little longer there.  As it was, the weather was gorgeous.  Seriously, amazing weather, I was surprised.

Next we induldged in caramel frappacinos at Starbucks, or my uncle did, I on the other hand did not.  I was being stingy and saving cash for other things.  Like friends.  We went to a fair number of shops and such.  I was tempted to get a legitimate felt hand made bowler hat, but £75 was a tad more than I was willing to spend.  As it was, I found one for £20 at a store a little later.  Anyways, we went to covent garden and saw eggs 27-34, I am so good!  Almost 20% there!  Anyways.  Covent Garden, I kind of want to move to London just so I can be awesome and shop there all the time.  There was just so much cool stuff.  I got a bunch of candy for people, because I love them. I also got my hands on a few pocket watches.  Which was awesome.  I have one for myself and one to give away.  I also saw a monocle, but didn’t purchase that.  Which was sad, maybe I’ll go back tomorrow (last day, can you believe it?!)  Anyways, that was covent garden.  We walked around the obscure back streets a bit and just window shopped.  Found a hoodie for my sister and a hat for my friend.  After a quick sandwich break, my uncle finally convinced me to let him wear the flat cap I bought, he then promptly stated that he was seriously considering getting himself one.  I on the other hand just popped on my new bowler hat and went on my merry way.  We went back to south bank.  Lovely.  We walked a seriously ridiculous amount. My feet and knees are killing me.  However, it was probably worth it.

Next we went to the house of my half uncle’s Spanish mother.  We watched Gnomeo and Juliet, which was super cute in 3D.  Which was nifty, for sure the way of the future, I am probably going to be hooped though because the glasses bother my nose.  Terrible.  I also think I was dehydrated a little.  I had a blistering headache by the time I finally went to bed.  Anyways, yesterday was essentially full of walking.  My poor feet.

Today was much less productive, I think I am going to get a jump on packing as soon as I am done this post.  I had a fancy lunch that I had to dress up for, which was nice.  Then a tour of a printing press. Lovely.  Other than that, just feeling sad about having to go home to snow.  It was beautiful here!
